October 3, 10, & 27 (Tuesdays) - 12:30 – 3:30 p.m.
This class will help you adjust to all the changes and feel at ease and productive with the Windows 10 operating system. Learn new features of Windows 10 as well as tips and tricks to optimize your Windows experience. Class is intended for computer users somewhat familiar with Windows as well as keyboard and mouse basics. Attendees can bring a Windows 10 laptop to participate or use the computers available in the classroom.
Steps to Improve your Wi-Fi Safety – NEW!
Friday, October 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Understand what types of attacks are out there and steps you can do on your computer to help prevent them! At the end of class the instructor will also recommend how to protect your iPhone and/or iPad as well. Class is intended for computer users somewhat familiar with Windows. Preferable for attendees bring their personal Windows 10 laptop to participate or you may attend the class and watch as the instructor demonstrates live on the screen.
File Management using Windows 10
Wednesday, October 18 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Discover tips and tricks for organizing your electronic files; from photographs, to documents, to email. Learn how to quickly locate your digital pictures and scanned documents by optimizing your operating systems search capabilities. Class is intended for computer users somewhat familiar with Windows as well as keyboard and mouse basics -- Preferably individuals who have previously attended a Windows 10 class at the library. Attendees can bring a Windows 10 laptop to participate or use the computers available in the classroom.
