Understanding File Management (Windows Users)
Thursdays - February 23 & March 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30

Understanding how to work with files and folders is an important part of using your computer. Once you understand how files and folders work, you'll use them all the time. In this class, we'll show you the absolute basics of working with files, including how to create files using proper naming conventions. You will even learn how to rename existing files to your new convention format. Then you will learn how to organize you’re your files by creating folders and moving files from one folder to another folder and to different storage locations/devices. Students must be comfortable with basic computer operations and settings on a Windows.
Microsoft Excel Beyond the Basics
Thursdays - February 23 & March 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Six-Part Class)
We will begin with a review of the basics such as how to Create, Edit, Save, and Print custom worksheets using basic formulas and functions. Understand how to be more proficient using features such as: Auto Correct/Auto Fill, Custom List. Learn advanced saving/printing, set up Borders, Page Numbers, Headers/Footers, etc. with primary focus on formulas and functions. Students must know how to type & have some basic knowledge of Excel in order to participate.
