I am often asked by Family Tree Maker 2019 users when should I sync? In this class, we will discuss best practices for syncing. Discover what will sync to Ancestry and what will not and how to know the difference. Learn to control what syncs and how to clean up your FTM file. Attendees will need to bring their laptop w/ FTM 2019 to class to follow along.

Monday, January 27*, February 3 & 10 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.

You can follow along as the instructor demonstrates on the screen. At the end of the class you will have a basis understanding of how to use your iPhone. Learn how to make phone calls, send text messages, create a contact, make an appointment, set and alarm, create a reminder, open a website, download an app, and more! (iPhone Users)

We will discuss 1) What makes a good password 2) How do you keep track of all the different ones you're supposed to have and 3) How to reset your password with commonly used sites. Attendees will need to bring their laptop to follow along. (PC and Mac Users)
Step-By-Step Guide to Instagram (Two Part Class)
Mondays, February 17 & 24 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Held in the Conference Room on Care Drive
Create an account, to share your Photos and Stories with your family and friends. Learn about the Instagram community and the various ways to interact on the application (such as #hashtags, @'s, etc). You'll also discover the best apps to use for editing and creating unique images, as well as photo-taking tips. This is a hands on class so bring your Tablet, iPad, SmartPhone (including charger) that you know how to operate! Please download the Instagram app prior to coming to class. Contact instructor prior to class via email at [email protected] if you need assistance. (iPhone and Android Users)
