Comprehensive Guide to Facebook (Two Part Class) – NEW!
Mondays, March 12 & 19 from - 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. Conference Room on Care Drive
This class covers how to create, use, and maintain a Facebook account, including understanding Facebook privacy policies and settings. Learn how to make a creative post using Colors, a GIF, or Stickers. Then add a check-in to your post and include a feeling to express your thoughts. Ask for recommendations or raise money for a cause. Tag a page, person or business. Make comments, upload pictures, videos and create albums. This class may also be beneficial to current users who wish to learn more such as NEW features, settings, and tips. Attendees must be familiar with using the Internet. Arrive early if you need assistance setting up a Facebook account. This is a hands on class so bring your laptop that you know how to operate and join us!
Learn to use Microsoft OneDrive Like a Pro! (Three Part Class) – NEW!
Mondays, April 2, 9 and 16 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. Conference Room on Care Drive (NOTE: Class Dates have Changed!)
Learn how to store and share files using OneDrive, Microsoft's FREE cloud storage service. This class covers everything from managing files to organizing your photos in online galleries and slideshows. Learn how to upload, organize, copy, and delete files; share files using links and the Public folder; find the files and info you need; tag photos; and create documents with Office Online, the free cloud-based version of Office that comes with a OneDrive account. Topics include: Signing in to OneDrive, Setting up OneDrive on Mac and Windows, Uploading files and folders, Renaming, copying, downloading, and deleting files, Sharing files, Searching files, Working with photos in OneDrive and Working with Office Online files. Don’t forget to Bring your laptop!
Creative Photography for Smartphone Users (Three Part Class)
Mondays, March 26, April 2 & 9 from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. Conference Room on Care Drive
This is a thorough class where you'll learn the tools, techniques, and photography tips to create gorgeous iPhone photographs. Learn how to use five of the most powerful iPhone Photography apps on the market to edit your photos. Finally, what good are great photos if you can’t share them? We will show you how to quickly and easily share your newly created masterpieces with your friends and family. Students will need to bring their smart phone to participate. Instructor will be using an iPhone but you are welcome to bring any smart phone that you know how to operate.
